Data supports cycling advocacy in your community

Pedal Poll/Sondo Vélo 2025 is taking place June 3 to 8. The count is a chance to evaluate the state of cycling in our communities. Together we get a “snapshot” of what cycling looks like in communities across Canada, at the same time, year over year.

The data collected helps build the case for more, and better, cycling infrastructure. This growing data set is there for everyone to use to advocate for access to safe cycling choices for everyone, everywhere.

2024 count results and analysis

The results from the 2024 counts have been analyzed and are available as a series of tables, infographics and charts for each focus community and all of Canada. You are welcome to view, download and share your community’s results. In 2024, 47,064 people on bicycles were counted by volunteers across Canada. Since 2021, 205,328 people on bicycles have been counted!
