Vélo Canada Bikes, founded in 2012, is a national non-profit organization working to build a bicycle friendly Canada. We are the national voice and organizing body for promoting cycling as a means of everyday transportation and recreation.

To build a bicycle friendly Canada, for all ages and abilities, through knowledge mobilization, collaboration, and catalyzing change at the federal level. Executive Director (MB) Brian brings a wealth of experience to the work, as well as a strong commitment to our shared vision. He was a City Councillor at the City of Calgary from 2007 to 2017. In that time, he championed cycling as a transportation option for the city.
